Lowcountry Goldens

Welcome to Lowcountry Goldens located in Charleston County, SC, but formerly Gate City Goldens of Greensboro, NC. We are so happy to introduce you to our sweet girls and boys. Our top priority is to produce Golden Retrievers and Goldendoodles that will be healthy and happy for many years to come. The love we have for our dogs is immense and we are so excited to share them with you. Thank you for visiting our site!

Since our dear friends  produced their first litter of Golden Retriever puppies in 2006, we have been smitten with this amazing breed. Due to raising our 3 boys, working full-time, and travelling for year-round sports, we were unable to devote the necessary time required to start our own program. Our friends graciously allowed us to be a part of theirs when we had time to be present for births, help take care of mothers and puppies if they had to be away, give baths, take dogs for walks, etc. We've learned so much from them and were thrilled to be a guardian family for them. We have finally reached a point in our lives where it is our turn to begin the journey of building our own program of Golden Retrievers and Goldendoodles. Our commitment to producing healthy, happy, well-socialized puppies is our number one priority. We are honored to be recognized as a Breeder of Excellence with Good Dog and a Blue Ribbon Breeder with Goldendoodles Association of North America. We are a husband and wife team with the part-time help of our sons, when needed. Our dogs are raised in our home and have become our children, now that our sons are adults! We look forward to sharing our fur family with you.

We’ve had a great year growing our dog f

We are proud to be recognized as a Blue Ribbon Breeder of Goldendoodle Association of North American and an Excellent Breeder of Good Dog. Both of these organizations require all breeders to maintain above normal, reputable breeding practices. They both believe, as we do, that there is nothing more important than making sure we are breeding health tested, genetically compatible dogs. They have very high expectations for the way we raise our dogs, and the puppies while they are in our care. The love and care we show to our dogs and puppies is of the utmost importance to us, as well as these two organizations.
